Hours after Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan submitted his resignation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) announced the formal withdrawal of its 34-day sit-in at Jantar Mantar. The decision came following a third round of talks between CJP representatives and Union Ministers J.P. Nadda and Jitendra Singh at the Constitution Club of India.

Addressing a joint press conference, CJP spokesperson Saurav Das stated that the party was calling off the nationwide agitation "in good faith," based on written commitments provided by the central government.
