CJP launches 'Kya Bolti Public'; unemployment next, Dipke says

Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke said on Thursday that unemployment will be taken up as a nationwide issue and announced a nationwide outreach campaign — "Kya Bolti Public" (What is the public saying?) — to gather feedback on issues affecting people across the country, multiple outlets reported.

Dipke spoke at a press conference after a core committee meeting at his residence in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra. The meeting had been underway since Wednesday. CJP chief spokesperson Saurav Das, spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka and other party representatives were present, The New Indian Express said.

What Dipke announced

Announcing the campaign, Dipke said: "During the 'kya bolti public' campaign, we will get to know what people think about the present situation in the country and what issues they face."

He said the recent protests drew not only students but also unemployed young people, noted that a large share of the country's population is below 35, and linked many Jantar Mantar participants to that age group. "Unemployment is a major problem; we will make it a nationwide issue," he said, adding that CJP would work on education reforms because schooling had become unaffordable and "education is making profits."
